The billionaire South African born tech and space entrepreneur, Elon Musk, has recently sold one of his many residential properties in Los Angeles - we take a look inside.
The home situated in the glitzy Brentwood suburb of Los Angeles was recently sold for $3.9 million after Musk had bought the home about five years ago for close to $3.7 million. It was reported by Variety that the home was sold in late August for the equivalent of R59 million - below the original asking price of R68 million.
The property, while not as impressive as his other properties situated in the Bel Air area, is still something to behold. The home's location enables it to have panoramic canyon views, as well as ocean and city views.
The home boasts with a saltwater swimming pool and spa, wood flooring that runs throughout the open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas, stacked-stone accent walls and vast banks of floor-to-ceiling glass sliders that allow for seamless transitions to a variety of patios that surround the house.
The bedrooms are in a separate wing of the home and include a deluxe master suite that enjoys direct access to the pool, a custom-fitted walk-in closet, and a spa-style bathroom.
